Yer thats actually gonna be way easier -
I only have to transport a ladder, not a huge mast and mother nature has already made it for me.
Il have a look for a suitable timber specimen next time im out there
Changes the plan a bit tho - I need to support a 12v battery and solar panel somehow
also my magnetic wire twanga antennas will need some encouragement to stick to a tree  Happy8

I do like the discreet element of using a tree rather than a very obvious steel tower
May prevent theft and/or vandals, also makes it harder for  :dimmock:  to find.....

if the transmitter receives anything it buggers the whole lot up -  Director

CTCSS code is required on the TX radio to avoid any unwanted interference    :dimmockturd:

Doing some local testing before the relocation to the south.

Aerials were too close together at first but after some adjustment it worked nice  Thumbsup

Even Lipstick was able to say hi on his way back to brisso.....

But yer any receiving that happens on the transmit radio is not good for anyone...  Icon_albino
